In short

Registering with Elite Mature Mingle, building a profile, browsing and showing interest are free. Reading and replying to messages needs a paid membership: a week, a month, or a short trial that becomes monthly. Prices are shown in US dollars, every membership renews automatically until cancelled in Settings > Billing, and refunds are pro-rata only when at least 40% of the period is unused.

What does Elite Mature Mingle cost?

Nothing until you want to talk. You can register, finish your profile, browse and show interest without paying. A membership is needed to read the messages people send you and to reply.

US prices as shown in the members area on 16 October 2026; the members area shows the exact price before you pay. Memberships renew automatically until you cancel in Settings > Billing. Check the price and billing details at checkout before you pay.

Prices are listed in US dollars, as shown in the members area. If you are in the UK, Australia or elsewhere, the checkout shows the exact amount and currency before you confirm. A card charged in a foreign currency can attract a fee from your own bank, so it is worth a glance at your card's terms.

Which membership suits you?

It depends on how you like to start. The table is a rough guide, not a recommendation to buy.

Option Suits you if Remember
Trial You want a short look at conversations before committing It becomes a monthly membership unless you cancel
One week You have a quiet week and a few people you want to talk to It renews automatically until you cancel
One month You expect to be messaging and arranging dates for a while It renews monthly until you cancel

Browsing first, free, is the simplest way to decide. If there is nobody you would like to write to in your area and age range, there is nothing to pay for yet. How it works shows exactly what free and paid members can do.

Optional extras

The members area also sells extras: profile boosts, priority messages, a 24-hour pass and an ID-verified badge. None of them is needed to read or reply to messages.

The ID badge is the one worth understanding before you buy. It shows that a member has passed a document and selfie check run by an identity-verification provider. It does not check job, income, marital status or anything else a member writes. What is checked on profiles explains the difference.

Renewal: the part to put in your diary

Every membership renews automatically at the end of its period, and the trial turns into a monthly membership. Nothing stops unless you cancel.

  1. Sign in to the members area.
  2. Open Settings > Billing.
  3. Cancel before the renewal date.

Cancelling stops the next payment. A note in your calendar a day or two before renewal is the simplest safeguard.

Refunds

The members terms allow a pro-rata refund only when at least 40% of the paid period is still unused. On a 30-day membership, for example, that means asking with at least 12 days left. Ask through the help centre, and quote the date and amount of the charge.

What appears on your card statement

The checkout shows the billing name that will appear on your bank or card statement. Make a note of it, so a charge you recognise doesn't look like one you don't. If you see a charge you can't place, the contact page explains how to reach the help centre with the details.

Leaving altogether

Cancelling a membership stops the payments; it does not delete your profile. To close your account, open your avatar, then Settings > Delete Account. While your account is open, your profile is shared with partner sites in the same network; how it works explains the network.

Paying for a membership buys conversation, not protection. Never send money to anyone you meet online; the safety guide explains why the request usually comes, and what to do.

Questions people ask

Does the trial become a monthly membership?

Yes. Unless you cancel in Settings > Billing before the trial ends, it renews as a monthly membership at the monthly price. If you only want to look around, put the trial's end date in your diary the day you start it.

Can I get a refund?

The members terms allow a pro-rata refund only when at least 40% of the paid period is unused. Ask through the members help centre with the date and amount of the charge; the current members terms set out the full conditions.

Will I be charged in pounds or Australian dollars?

Prices are listed in US dollars. The checkout shows the exact amount and currency before you confirm, so check it there. If your card is charged in a foreign currency, your own bank may add a fee, which the site does not control.

Do I need the extras?

No. A standard membership is enough to read and reply to messages. Profile boosts, priority messages, a 24-hour pass and the ID badge are optional, and each is shown with its price before you buy.
